House Rules
A £500 (cash) good housekeeping deposit should be handed to the owner or her representative on arrival. This deposit will then be returned to you following a satisfactory inspection of the property.
You are liable for all costs resulting from breakages and loss or damage to any equipment or fixtures and fittings not caused by Woodhill Hall.
Smoking is not permitted inside Woodhill Hall or at any event catered by the Company in accordance with current legislation in respect of Smoking, Health and Social Care. You will be responsible for the conduct of all guests to ensure that the current legislation is complied with. Failure to do so shall entitle Woodhill Hall to require the offending individual(s) to leave the function and shall constitute a breach of their Terms and Conditions of trading and may result in the relevant authorities imposing a Fixed Penalty £50 fine on each individual. Smoking is only permitted outside the Hall. There are ashtrays affixed to the wall of the Hall at the rear of the property. Please use designated ashtrays and do not discard stubs on the ground.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that nothing is affixed to the fabric of the building including walls, floors and ceilings.
Woodhill Hall accepts no responsibility for items left or stored on the Hall’s premises. The client should ensure that they have sufficient insurance provision in place to meet any and all claims levelled against it and shall indemnify the Hall and its owners, employees against all charges, claims, damages, liabilities, proceedings, demands, fines, fees, costs or expenses.
Catering
If you wish to cater for yourself: Should you wish to bring your own equipment to Woodhill Hall, you must ensure that it has been tested and are safe to use. Woodhill Hall accepts no liability for any equipment that you bring to the event location and we would ask that you comply with all relevant statutory legislation.
Conduct of Guests
The client shall be responsible for the orderly conduct of the event and shall ensure that nothing shall be done which may constitute a breach of the law or in any way cause a nuisance or be an infringement of or occasion or render possible forfeiture or endorsement of any license for the sale of alcohol or for music and dancing. Failure to do so shall entitle Woodhill Hall to require the offending individual(s) to leave the function and shall constitute a breach of these Terms and Conditions of trading.
You will indemnify us against any loss, damage, costs and expenses (including legal fees) which we may suffer or incur and against any claims brought against us as a result of any act or omission of either you or your guests or as a result of any defect in equipment supplied by either you or your guests.
All children must be under adult supervision at all times.
Bio degradable Confetti is allowed to be thrown within the Orangery and on the first flight of Orangery steps.
A limited number of Chinese lanterns can be released however there must be no metal wire in the lanterns. The following day please ensure that you allocate someone to have a look around the fields to make sure there is no debris left from the Chinese lanterns.
