This policy explains we may collect information about you and then how we use it in order to satisfy your booking requirements. It also outlines the security measures we take in order to protect your privacy and gives certain assurances on things that we will not do.

When you place a wedding booking with Woodhill we collect your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number. We also monitor customer traffic patterns and site use, which enables us to improve the service we provide.

Use of information

We will use personal information about you for a number of purposes, including:

  • to advise you of any changes or problems with your wedding booking 
  • to help us to administer accounts, services and products which we offer
  • to write to you (including electronic mail) or to telephone you with information about our services including the following; 
    • Food tasting evenings
    • Planning meeting appointments

    • Changes to Woodhill 
    • Future events which may be of interest to you in your wedding planning journey

We do not sell or disclose your personal information to other companies without your prior consent. We do not sell mailing lists to third parties. If you do not wish to receive our newsletter, you can unsubscribe by emailing but please note they do hold information relating to the venue and the events. We use any email communication methods to inform and not to upsell or spam. 

Protection of information

As required by the UK Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access. This includes following certain procedures, for example encrypting data on our websites in order to ensure compliance with all applicable legal requirements. Any information and personal data is held in the office unless used within meetings with you, but is returned to the office and locked after use.

The internet

If you communicate with us via the internet then we may occasionally use email to contact you about our services and products. For example, if you submit the following to us 

  • Viewing request
  • Quote 
  • Open Day registration 

We will respond accordingly with the information you have request or with a confirmation/reminder of the event/booking however you will not be added to a general mailing list.
